Hi! My name is Mimi Webb. Mimz Music promotes musical collaboration through networking with friends and professionals.

During the 2021-2022 school year, I worked for VBCPS, teaching middle school band and 5th grade strings. I received my Master’s degree in Music Education at LSU. I was the assistant band director at East Ascension HS in Gonzales, Louisiana for two years. I graduated from LSU in May of 2017 with Bachelor degrees in Music Education and Music Performance.

Sharing musical activities and performances with others can be a therapeutic opportunity for all involved, even animals! “Success” is a difficult word to define, and means different things in various settings. To me, success looks like -

• harnessing musicality for nervous system well-being

• discovering one’s own creative voice

• collaborating with other voices to empower and elevate one another

• facilitation through compassion and understanding
